Green roof:
That's the face of progress, my long-lost friends. We have been inching forward at a snail's pace for so long, that such a sudden leap forward in a single day really took our breath away - and not just because of all the dust.
I watched the sun set over our new green roof and imagined future dinners al fresco and then came downstairs and pulled out a chair, sat down, and stared at this for awhile. I can see what a huge difference this space is going to make once it's done, and for the first time in 3 years and 3 months, I can really see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now if only we can keep the train on track.
